Audio Tip – Limiting Beliefs
Do you put a cap on your ability? I’m not talking about being 60 years old and realizing that you’re probably not going to be an Olympic gymnast. I’m talking about daily limiting beliefs.
Too often we base our beliefs about our own ability on other people’s perspectives of us. This is particularly true if you have grown up or found yourself in an abusive situation. Whether personally or professionally when someone else makes it their mission to threaten, intimidate or humiliate us they leave a mark of inadequacy that is hard to erase.
The question is, do you buy it? Do you believe that you are unable, unqualified, uneducated, unworthy? At the end of the day it doesn’t matter what other people’s thoughts are of us. The only thing that matters is what we think of ourselves. That you have control over. That you can improve on.
My challenge to you this month is to park you limiting beliefs and try something new that is outside of your comfort zone.
What can you do to push your boundaries? How will you overstep your limiting beliefs?
